Pro-Ject Debut PRO S Balanced – Audiophile Turntable with True Balanced mini XLR Output
The Pro-Ject Debut PRO S Balanced is designed for listeners who view music playback as a mindful, immersive experience. Every detail of its construction emphasizes tactile interaction and precision. The entire chassis, tonearm, and components are finished in elegant matte black, with only the polished spindle exposed, creating a minimal, sophisticated appearance that keeps the focus solely on the music.
Manual operation invites the listener to engage directly with every step: turning the unit on, placing the record, and gently lowering the tonearm. The reward is an authentic analog experience that connects you deeply to the sound. The Debut PRO S Balanced introduces an entirely new design language for Pro-Ject turntables, combining exceptional engineering, long-term durability, and modern minimalist aesthetics.
Precision Engineering & Performance
A precisely controlled electronic synchronous motor ensures stable and accurate rotation speeds at 33, 45, and 78 RPM, easily selectable via the toggle switch. The heavy die-cast aluminum platter is CNC-balanced and features an internal TPE damping ring that eliminates unwanted resonances and reduces wow and flutter. It’s also anti-magnetic, allowing flawless operation with MC cartridges. The included Record Puck E provides extra stability and damping.
10” S-Shaped Tonearm – Rigid and Accurate
The newly developed 10-inch S-shaped aluminum tonearm provides exceptional rigidity and perfect groove tracking. Its redesigned base allows full azimuth and VTA adjustment, letting you fine-tune your setup for any cartridge or platter mat to achieve optimal sound quality.
High-Precision Mechanical Components
The tonearm bearings are CNC-milled with extreme precision, while the diamond-cut aluminum sub-platter ensures smoother and quieter rotation. Three height-adjustable aluminum feet with integrated damping minimize vibrations and acoustic feedback for absolute stability.

Pick it S2 C Cartridge – Precision and Dynamics
The included Pick it S2 C cartridge delivers lively, detailed, and balanced playback, perfectly complementing the turntable’s audiophile design.
True Balanced mini XLR Output – The Next Generation of Analog Sound
Featuring a genuine mini XLR True Balanced output, the Debut PRO S Balanced provides a cleaner, more dynamic signal with reduced noise and interference. This professional-grade connection represents a major step forward in analog audio performance, ensuring superior signal purity and resolution.
In Summary
The Pro-Ject Debut PRO S Balanced redefines modern analog listening. With its refined design, precision-built components, and fully manual operation, it turns every record into an experience — tactile, engaging, and true to the artist’s intent. It’s not just a turntable, but a long-term investment in the art of music itself.

The Pro-Ject Debut PRO S Balanced features an advanced belt-drive system with electronic speed control, allowing smooth and precise switching between 33, 45, and 78 RPM. Its electronically regulated motor ensures consistently stable rotation and pitch accuracy.
The 300mm die-cast aluminum platter is fitted with an internal TPE damping ring to minimize resonance and vibration, and comes with a high-quality felt mat for additional isolation. The platter runs on a high-precision stainless-steel axle seated in a bronze bushing, ensuring ultra-smooth and silent performance over time.
Speed variations are exceptionally low, with wow and flutter rated at ±0.16% (33 RPM) and ±0.14% (45 RPM). Average speed drift is ±0.40% (33 RPM) and ±0.50% (45 RPM). The signal-to-noise ratio reaches an impressive 68dB, ensuring clear, distortion-free playback.
The tonearm is a 10-inch S-shaped aluminum design with a standard SME connector, providing exceptional rigidity and tracking accuracy. It has an effective length of 254mm, an effective mass of 8g, and an overhang of 16mm, optimized for precise groove tracking.
Included accessories: 15V DC / 0.8A power supply, dust cover, round belt for 78 RPM playback, 7-inch single adapter, and the Record Puck E for improved record stability and damping.
Power consumption is rated at 4W during operation and 0W in standby mode. The turntable measures 462 × 145 × 345mm (W × H × D) without the dust cover and 462 × 383 × 430mm with the dust cover open. Net weight: 7 kg.
