The grand in-wall speaker
Designed for use as a front speaker in medium and large high-performance home theaters, the IW-66 is a grand performer. It combines striking power with advanced technologies to ensure the most stunning sound experience possible in medium and large home theaters.
Triple AMT tweeter with focusing array
The IW-66 has a unique focusing array tweeter principle (FAT), consisting of three Air Motion Transformer tweeters, two of them angled. This leads to an even vertical sound dispersion angle on axis, achieving a linear frequency response and the same relative sound level in all rows, even with elevated tiers.
Powerful sound and high SPL
With six midrange drivers and three AMT tweeters the IW-66 reaches a very high sound pressure level (120 dB) with great dynamic headroom, high sensitivity, and excellent power handling. This makes the IW-66 suitable for large high performance home theaters.
Very rigid yet shallow construction
The IW-66 is a very rigid construction where the enclosures for the midrange drivers are internally braced and separated from the tweeters. The construction minimizes mechanical resonance and sound coloration even when playing at maximum volume level. The overall cabinet design is very shallow, which makes it easy to install.
