Denon achieves this by leveraging not just AL32 Processing Plus, but a host of other technologies, such as a DAC master clock and proprietary S.V.H. disc drive. Whatever disc you insert into the DCD-1700NE can display its information on the integrated OLED panel, and playback is conveniently controlled with the included remote.
In order to achieve a faithful reproduction of original recordings, Denon's advanced AL32 Processing Plus technology utilizes algorithms to restore information lost in those digital recordings. It uses data interpolation, up-sampling, and bit-extension to get the job done, with the result being audio free of interference and a rich low-end range.
The S.V.H. (Suppress Vibration Hybrid) mechanism of the disc loader sports a low center of gravity to prevent vibration, and condensed signal paths and circuitry control pickup for minimized decoding noise. This is on top of a reduction of unnecessary controls and current consumption, which all comes together to deliver improved sound quality and maximized accuracy in disc playback.
The precisely crafted master clock includes dual high-quality oscillators with reduced phase noise for 44.1 and 48 kHz sampling frequencies. The master clock also helps to suppress jitter, ensure peak precision in D/A/ conversion, and optimize digital audio circuitry.
