The Morel XBC400 recessed ceiling speaker has a well-thought-out design that allows it to reproduce music or movie soundtracks with high quality. The speakers are made using branded speakers and patented technologies, which ensured their high reliability and ease of installation.
Morel XBC400 are made on a modern ABS chassis, due to which, with a relatively low weight, they have high mechanical strength. In addition, ABS has very good damping characteristics, that is, the speaker chassis will not vibrate and color the sound even at high listening volumes.
Morel XBC400 is equipped with a 4-inch woofer, the cone of which is made on the basis of a composite of carbon fiber and paper. The woofer has a large voice coil with a diameter of 30 mm and a powerful ferrite magnet. Despite its rather modest size, the woofer develops significant sound pressure and reproduces detailed and deep basses.
The tweeter in the Morel XBC400 column has a diameter of 30 mm, a soft fabric dome and a neodymium magnet. The sound of the tweeter is transparent and detailed, yet comfortable enough for long, untiring listening to music. The speakers in the column are connected to a crossover filter, made according to a simple scheme of selected components. A rather high crossover frequency of 5000 Hz, chosen for natural reproduction of vocals, is ensured by the use of the company's own speakers.
The speakers have a removable protective mesh made of fabric and metal. Morel XBC400 looks very neat in the interior, but at the same time provides sound that is not inferior in quality to compact Hi-Fi acoustics. With an installation depth of 65 mm, this model can be installed in a variety of suspended ceiling structures. This built-in speaker has good versatility with respect to various music content and system electronics, and will be an excellent choice for various installation solutions.
